Discover the Oscar Ouyang SS26 — Spring/Summer 2026 — collection unveiled on the message-lined NEWGEN catwalks of London Fashion Week (LFW) on September 19, 2025.
Beijing-born Ouyang translated avian inspiration into a striking menswear collection centered around the beauty of knitwear. For his NEWGEN debut on the catwalks of LFW, Ouyang captured this editor’s eye by crafting a menswear collection that soars — one that intrigues and pushes menswear beyond everyday expectations, looks that evoke rawness and toughness while also conveying moments of whimsy.
Feather shorts, bird motifs, feathery accents, and woven natural fibers filled the collection. Warrior-like armor tops in “bell” silhouettes and shoulders reminiscent of those on samurai soldiers were the standout details in the collection. A neutral color palette of earth tones was punctuated with a soothing olive hue and grounded a collection which pushed menswear to new heights.
Ouyang brought excitement to menswear with a collection that truly captivates. This editor can’t wait to see what this young designer creates next.
