Discover the Ferragamo Fall/Winter 2023 “Cinema” collection unveiled at Milan Fashion Week in February 2023. Creative Director Maximilian Davis shines a spotlight on Hollywood and the glamour of the 1950’s for the latest collection and adds his own modern take.
“It’s how Ferragamo started, making shoes for films in the 1930s, and that grew into building relationships with movie stars like Sophia Loren and Marilyn Monroe in the 1950s. I was interested in using their glamour and beauty, and their way of dressing, as a reference, but looking at how we could make it feel modern for today.

Beyond the mid century silhouettes and volume references, Davis also digs into the Ferragamo archives to reinvent shoes from the era as well as a handbag silhouette from SS98. For our favorite detail, the addition of slashes adds just the right amount of peek-a-boo color in a range of looks. Regardless of the era, Davis created another timeless collection full of modern glamour and sublime sophistication.
As for VIPs in attendance, we find actress and former model Uma Thurman, Spanish actor and rapper Aron Piper, American model, actor and skateboarder Evan Mock, South Korean singer Soyeon, South Korean rapper and singer Jeno to name a few.
