Cynthia Erivo lit up red carpet at the premiere of her film “Prima Facie” at the BFI London Film Festival 2026 held on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. Along with Erivo were Director Susanna White, producers of the film, Writer Susie Miller, and fellow cast members Toheeb Jimoh, Sarah Junillon, Eliabeth Dulau, Khalid Abdalla, Elliot Levey, and Harry Treadaway.
Erivo was striking in a custom, Prada yellow gown with square-cut neckline and black, bow-detailing, pairing the look with diamonds from NYC-based Marli.
About the film: In “Prima Facie” Tessa Ensler (Cynthia Erivo), a working-class criminal defense barrister in London, expertly represents her clients, including those who are accused of sexual assault. After being raped by a coworker, she must face the courtroom from the other side. The film opens only in theaters November 13, 2026.
