Director Sián Heder, along with stars Ruth Madeley and Rob Delaney, put a spotlight on accessibility and equal rights on the red carpet of the BFI London Film Festival 2026 for the premiere of their movie “Being Heumann” on Monday, October 12, 2026.
Also on the red carpet at the BFI Southbank, were several producers and other crew of the film, along with special guests including actor Lenny Rush.

For the red carpet, Madeley wore a classic, yet contemporary, double-breasted Louis Vuitton suit in all black.
“Being Heumann” is about disability rights activist Judy Heumann, who led a historic 28-day occupation of San Francisco’s Federal Building in 1977, uniting protesters in a fight for accessibility laws and equal rights.
