A Boost of Red Carpet Glamour at the “I Love Boosters” BFI London Film Festival 2026 Premiere

Director Boots Riley and his beautiful cast of Naomi Ackie, Aiza González, and Poppy Liu hit the red carpet at the BFI London Film Festival 2026 premiere of their movie “I Love Boosters” on Friday, October 9, 2026.

Held at the BFI Southbank, the cast and crew were joined by special guests to celebrate the comedy, crime-drama film about a group of shoplifters who take aim at a cutthroat fashion maven by stealing her clothes and reselling them at a lower price, aka “fashion-forward philanthropy.”

While Director and Writer Boots Riley made a bold statement in his matching long coat and pants with oversized hat, his stars arrived in full-on, red carpet glamour. Eiza González wore a sheer, black Fendi gown, while Naomi Ackie was in a striking Marine Serre halter gown with make-up brushes, and Poppy Liu wore a backless, red dress with a “floral peplum” and draped, front sash.

Guests of note included model Nassia Matsa, actress Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness, fashion designers Bianca Saunders and Maximilian Raynor, and professional tennis player Grigor Dimitrov, who accompanied girlfriend Eiza González on the red carpet.
