We closed out our time at New York Fashion Week (NYFW) with the Frederick Anderson SS26 — Spring/Summer 2026 — runway show on Tuesday, September 16th. From backstage, to rehearsals and the runway, we had a chance to escape into the sophisticated elegance we’ve come to adore from this talented designer and close the books on this season of NYFW with a smile on our faces.
For Creative Director Frederick Anderson, his latest 46-look collection is grounded in the concept of “joy.”
“Finding ones “joy” is a difficult process made even worse when the world is in such a negative place. But today I wanted to share a bit of my joy and thankfulness for the beauty around us… and inside us. Taking you on a mini vacation to “joy.” – Frederick Anderson, Founder & Creative Director

The concept of a mini vacation was evident in the soothing and relaxing color palette of pale-ocean blue, sea foam green, vivid yellow, sand tones, coral and bright white — together evoking a feeling of calm and relaxation. Lacy and sheer fabrics, fishnet, flowing fringe, ruffled touches and feathery accents added to the overall lightness of the collection. Anderson accessorized his looks with floppy, wide-brimmed hats for days in the sun and beautiful Erickson Beamon Jewelry for playful touches to personalize any look.

The runway show culminated in timeless black and white looks, dramatic creations punctuated with the beauty of floral cut outs on leather along with touches of sheer fabrics, delicate beading and floral-like appliqués, all creating a sexy mood for evening escapades.
Anderson delivered on his message of joy and took us on a much-needed escape through a beautiful collection filled with chic elegance and sophistication.
