January is... Reinvention -- VRAI Magazine

January is... Reinvention -- VRAI Magazine[dropcap] R [/dropcap]einvention. We kick off 2015 with stories and inspirations centered around this dynamic word. What I love about it is its inherent meaning of taking something and making it even better or into something totally new. Think positively about what you can be and what your life can become – the possibilities are limitless.

With that said, don’t be intimidated with the thought that reinvention has to be centered around something grand in scale. Reinvention can happen on many levels – both big and small. And, as you’ll see in the stories that unfold throughout the month of January, we cover the spectrum of reinvention in everyday living. Be sure you’ve subscribed so that you don’t miss any of these stories!

Here at VRAI Magazine, we’re also going through our own reinvention. With our launch year under our belt, we’re moving ahead into 2015 with subtle changes, not big overhauls, starting with greater emphasis on truly celebrating life’s stories, both big and small, in all our articles.

And on a personal note, I’m also embarking on a health reinvention. My entire life has been a struggle with food and weight, and with each passing year, it doesn’t get any easier. Examining the triggers that make me eat and changing my approach to food and my well-being are critical parts of my reinvention. I know I’m not alone on this one but you’ll also notice that I didn’t mention “diet” which comes up in every conversation this time of year. My goal is for this reinvention to be permanent and not short-lived so I’m approaching this realistically — wish me luck!

We all have an opportunity for reinvention and with a new year, it’s the perfect time to start. Wishing you an amazing 2015 and much success in all that you do,

Danny de la Cruz @ VRAI Magazine
