Day one of New York Fashion Week Men’s was kicked off by 12 diverse collections that were part of New York Men’s Day. Keeping track of 12 different collections was a challenge, but here are some moments captured from each collection from the first part of the day, as well as some of my favorite pieces and looks.
Head of State
Retro Miami cool meets modern day vibes in the David Hart SS18 collection. What’s not to love with these colors and suits? And I love the burnt rust coloring in the 4th image below with polo and shorts!
An ode to the boys of summer. A baseball inspired collection that hit a visual home run. There was also something intriguing about the baseball hats with exaggerated chin straps. Let’s play ball!
Krammer & Stoudt
A subdued palette with textural heft. I especially loved the earthiness of the 3rd look below and the jacket with details.
Ocean blues were a big color trend this season and it was also true in the Daniel Hechter SS18 collection. Another muted and more tailored collection that had me wanting the monochromatic look of the 3rd image below.
